Developing NHS Health and Wellbeing leads workshops

The new Health and Wellbeing framework identified a strong need to develop those who lead on this complex and demanding agenda – is this you, or do you have overall responsibility for health and wellbeing across your organisation? If so, please come and share your views and experience to help us develop the tools, and support required for individuals and organisations going forward.

These workshops build on interviews undertaken across England to find out what health and wellbeing leads are currently responsible for. We will share some of these themes with the focus on next steps. The two-hour long events will be held over Zoom and will be interactive with a mix of presentations and breakout sessions.

‘Working with the Seldom Heard’ webinar series Nov 2020-April 2021

It is vital that health services, research and education meet the needs of people from all walks of life. We need to work in partnership with people from diverse communities to achieve this, for example black and minority ethnic groups or the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender community. These communities can often be marginalised or less often included in our partnerships, hence the term ‘seldom heard’. We need to work differently to make sure that we include everyone’s voices, such as going to different places, meeting people where they are and listening.
