Strategic and Industry Partnerships

Health Innovation Oxford & Thames Valley region is a leading national and international health and life sciences cluster, home to a rich and diverse community of innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers. The Strategic and Industry Partnerships (SIP) programme helps to build evidence for innovation, working with companies and other partners to accelerate health and economic gains. The SIP programme fosters long-term partnerships with industry and a culture of innovation in the NHS. This work is aligned with the NHS Accelerated Access Collaborative and the requirements of the Office for Life Sciences (OLS) which is funding HINs to establish a network of innovation exchanges. The OLS commission includes four core functions:

  1. Contact us Identifying need and communicating regional priorities
  2. Signposting and supporting innovators
  3. Validation in real world settings
  4. Adoption and spread of innovations.
