Information collection and use
From time to time, you may be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and email address) in order to receive or use services. Such services include bulletins, information about events, PDF downloads and email updates. We also collect information when you voluntarily complete surveys and contact us forms or provide feedback. This information is collected and stored with your permission.
When you visit one or more of our Oxford AHSN websites, we may log data such as your IP address and details of which web browser you used. This information is used to analyse trends, administer the site and track users’ movements.
How we use the information we collect
The Oxford AHSN collects information about you to help us deal with your requests and, if you agree, to email you with news, events and other updates we believe would be of interest to you based on the information we hold. By giving us your details you enable us and our associated projects and programmes to provide you with the services you select. When you subscribe to a newsletter or complete a form you will have the chance to accept / “opt in” to what communications you would like. You can “opt out” or unsubscribe at any time by contacting us or updating your profile via newsletter or events invites.
Any information you provide to the Oxford AHSN will only be used by us and our associated projects and programmes. Your details will not be disclosed unless we are obliged or permitted to by law to do so.
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met or when you no longer wish to continue your subscription.
