This is the first in a series of cardiovascular disease (CVD) education sessions that will be delivered across the South East region throughout 2022/23. They are organised by the South East Academic Health Science Networks (Oxford, Kent Surrey Sussex and Wessex).
The inaugural webinar aims to support the introduction of the new NICE approved lipid management pathway across integrated care systems (ICSs) – including education, raising awareness and implementation of inclisiran and all novel therapies into the lipid management pathway. Contributors include Professor Gary Ford and Dr Sian Rees from the Oxford AHSN.
This webinar will:
- highlight the importance of optimal lipid management as part of the overall approach to preventing and managing CVD
- provide an opportunity to hear from clinical practitioners on managing patients using the revised lipid management pathway
- provide an opportunity to reflect on these experiences and embedding locally.
