James oversees a team of seasoned professionals dedicated to business support, NHS engagement, real-world evaluation and innovation adoption. With over 16 years’ experience in the life sciences and healthcare sector, James has held various roles aimed at enhancing patient access to healthcare innovation. He holds a PhD in Regenerative Medicine and has previously contributed his expertise to pharmaceuticals, small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and consulting firms, specialising in research and development, commercial strategies.
James has led on a portfolio of successful projects aimed at supporting the NHS to capitalise on innovative health technology including medicines, medtech and digital innovations. He also led the NHS Accelerated Access Collaborative programme focused on improving access to biologic therapies for severe asthma.
