Needs definition

The Strategic and Industry Partnerships programme supports health and social care providers and integrated care systems (ICSs) within our region (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Frimley and Milton Keynes) to identify proven solutions to existing challenges. This is achieved through close and continued collaboration with our NHS partners to understand and identify their most pressing clinical needs and challenges, and what would enable them to promote health equality and best practice.

Based on feedback from our NHS partners we match new and existing healthcare innovations to local needs, working with clinicians and industry towards integrating them into everyday practice. These innovations are identified through focused calls. They are matched to local needs, or to those identified in other Health Innovation Network regions. This exchange across the national network of HINs is part of a coordinated approach to identifying, selecting and supporting the adoption of innovations designed to improve patient outcomes and enhance the economy.
