Inclusion for all? Working with people with mental health issues webinar series

A series of five webinars organised by the Working Together Partnership, aimed at both professionals and the public, starting in November and running until March 2022. 

Ensuring that health services, research and education meet the needs of people from all walks of life is vital. To achieve this, patients, their families and carers, alongside health and care staff, all need to work together. This series of online webinars will focus on five different aspects of mental ill health. Each webinar will feature three speakers, giving different viewpoints and experiences on how patients and staff can work effectively together. The first two webinars will be:

Writing for the public

Writing so that everyone understands what you want to communicate is a real skill. The virtual workshop will include discussion, presentations, small group exercises and top tips on how to write for a public audience.

A workshop for interested members of the public and patients on the topic of using and sharing patient data

This workshop will give members of the public and patients the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences of patient data. We will also hear from three speakers on the different aspects and considerations of patient data. This will be the final workshop in the series.
