  • Embed intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) technology into stroke units in acute and community hospitals across our region to reduce DVT risk and associated mortality
  • Ensure stroke patients wear IPC sleeves within 72 hours of hospital admission
  • Align regional protocols; promote IPC sleeve use with Thames Valley Strategic Clinical Network
  • Capture Stroke Unit participants’ experiences; highlight lessons learned
