The Oxford Academic Health Science Network gets innovation into clinical practice to improve patient safety, outcomes and experience, and generating economic growth, through collaboration between the NHS, industry and universities. Our main focus is in three key areas:

Patient Safety and Clinical Improvement
  • Building a culture of safety, continuous learning and improvement in line with local, regional and national priorities to reduce harm and enable safer care than ever before

Clinical Innovation Adoption
  • Implementing evidence-based innovation across the NHS to improve patient care, through sustainable solutions in medicines, devices, digital health and system transformation which meet identified NHS needs

Strategic and Industry Partnerships
  • Building evidence for innovations in the real world, establishing an innovation exchange, working with commercial partners to accelerate health and economic gains and securing regional investment
