First of a two-part event for innovators and digital health companies developing innovations in mental health support, care and treatment, with a specific focus on men.
Content designed and delivered by The Hill with the Oxford AHSN.
We have brought together a panel of people and staff with experience around mental healthcare to explore ways that the health system might better engage with men, specifically addressing issues around male help-seeking for mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
The discussions will focus on service delivery, adoption of new technology, potential male-friendly pathways for patient care, barriers to seeking treatment, challenges to engagement, prevention, self-management and more.
This first workshop will be led by clinicians and experts by experience touching on challenges, unmet needs and opportunities.
The second workshop on 12 October will be a follow-up session led by innovators where companies will be able to pitch their propositions to mental health specialists.
