Never has scientific research looked as promising as it does now, with new exciting possibilities for tackling diseases through the development of innovative medicines. The process, from research to use, takes several years and requires the close collaboration of many stakeholders. What is the role of each part of the system – from industry researcher, through the regulating medicines authorities, to NHS clinicians and patients?
