The Informatics strategy has been developed by actively engaging the Oxford AHSN senior management team, the Informatics Oversight Group and Chief Information Officers forum. The key purpose of the strategy is to:
- create a region-wide perspective, including opportunities for patients, citizens and economic growth
- influence the agenda for informatics and digital health across member organisations
- establish coherence through partnerships and promote openness and transparency through the use of rich data sources.
The strategic direction for the service will be to build on work and focus on interoperability, person health records, patient engagement, advanced analytics, information governance and digital maturity.
