- Improve AF patient outcomes through community-based detection, management and stroke prevention
- Reduce variations across clinical pathways and practice
- Promote standard tools and scoring in GP surgeries
- Pilot innovations such as: new oral anticoagulants; self-service or GP-based point of care testing
- Propose a strategy to reduce unwarranted variation and deliver a high standard of care across our region
