The AHSN is now preparing for its Panel Interview in February 2013 following feedback in November. In particular, additional information is being prepared in support of the submitted Prospectus on the workings of the clinical networks and how these will deliver the objectives for Best Care. Specifically, information will be provided on proposals for the diabetes clinical network and a network to cover the many aspects of mental health including dementia, anxiety and depression and the integration of mental and physical health. In addition,the AHSN will be taking forward the work of existing clinical networks as outlined in the Prospectus.
The Business Plan for the AHSN and its plan for the first 100 days are also being developed and a series of meetings are being arranged for January and February 2013 covering Research and Development, The Programmes and Cross-cutting Themes, Wealth Creation and Healthcare Innovation, and Patient and Public Experience, Involvement and Engagement.
