Steve is Chief Executive of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, a role he has held since January 2017. Steve’s NHS career dates back 35 years and includes both clinical and managerial responsibilities. He began training as a nurse in 1987 and has gone on to hold a number of senior roles. He chairs the Oxford HIN’s Patient Safety and Clinical Improvement oversight group. In 2023 Steve was Interim Chief Executive of the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care System.
